Ending the 2002 Series GED® Test
The 2002 GED® test expired at the end of 2013. As of January 2, 2014, The 2002 Series GED® test has been replaced with the new 2014 GED® test.
Those who have taken the 2002 Series GED® test, but did not pass all five parts, had until the end of 2013 to pass or they will need to start over again in 2014 with the new GED® test in order to receive their high school credential.
Adult learners can’t wait to prove they are ready for better jobs, college classrooms, and higher wages. The majority of jobs require more than just a high school diploma to apply. The 2014 GED® features:
· Computer Based System offers online registration and scheduling 24/7, enhanced security and instant score reports
· Enhanced Score Report provides information about academic strengths and weaknesses to improve performance
· Provides Information to determine readiness for employment, workforce training programs, and postsecondary education
